Haha, yes I do live. Wanna know where I've been? The usual, doing homework and goofing off on the computer. I don't have any fancy schmancy excuse so feel free to growl at me for my inactivity as you'd like.

Now for some news. First of all, my 3+ year old gaming compy is finally showing its age. Games today are getting to be too much for it, and it has all sorts of little problems, like video playback on avis fucking up when I use newer drivers for my vid cards (GeForce 7900GT), the front audio port doesn't work, it makes terrifying groans and screeches when it starts up, etc. But now it has started dying whenever I try to do demanding tasks like play games, record with fraps, or render fractals. So, it's time for a new compy! Here's the specs on this mofo that's on its way to mah house:

Notice the only really sucky thing in here is the hard drive. I chose the site's smallest possible one since I'm going to port my current compy's 500GB drive with all my files over into the new compy. And since I have an unlimited install XP Professional disk from my old job, I can put my own OS on there and save some cash. Shit's gonna be sweet as hell. Now I should be able to record myself playing Audiosurf lag free, bitches.

In other news, My grades weren't bad this semester. A's and B's with a C thrown in. Definitely better than my first year. I'm still gonna take some classes over the summer though, wanna compensate for my earlier fuckups to cancel out some of the time I lost. Still can't find a decent on campus job, but a decent tax refund from last year before my layoff made the new compy and tuition all possible. Who knew there'd be perks to making less than $10K a year, ne?

I've been suffering more of those nasty writer's blocks on the fanfics, but I'm grinding this one through slowly but surely. Should be a new chunk ready in a week or two. As for art, well, I should be able to render fractals and photoshops again once the shipping guys get off their butts and bring me the new compy that won't die 5 minutes into a job.

Hahah, not like you guys aren't used to my absences now amirite?

The holidays were NUTS for me. We had about 10 femily members all visit for Christmas, and most stayed on for the New Year. I was very busy, handling both chores to prepare, then to maintain, on top of socializing with the family. Then I had to handle preparation for classes, and now I'm right in the middle of said classes. To give you guys an idea of how crazy things are getting, I shall copypasta my whole schedule here now.

Of course, I'm only updating my dA page now that I'm under pressure. Seems I am the most productive and active with all endeavors when I've got deadlines weighing down on me, go figure.

ANYWAY, I'm getting some pixel artists together to help me on the next Pokemon in Space strip, and another 4M chunk is well underway. I expect I might even get some photos or fractals made to post up here too!

For now I'm going to go listen to audiobooks of Oliver Twist for my English Novel class. Ciao!

So you guys may or may not have noticed, but it's been many months since I released a new Pokemon In Space strip on my site. The reasoning is simple, I have an awesome idea that I started, dug myself deep into, and then realized I have no actual skills at the level of pixel art that would be required to make this strip possible.

SO. Anybody out there willing to volunteer to do a little pixel art for me? I'm plum broke ATM, but I might be willing to negotiate some other kinds of payment. Just note me or email me!
